The University of Lübeck | Universität zu Lübeck is a research university in the German city of Lübeck, a university that focuses heavily on the study of applied sciences and medicine. In 2006, 2009 and 2016, University of Lübeck was the number one doctor in medicine among all universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Hochschulranking, and in computer science and molecular biology the university was ranked number two in the 2009 assessment.

The German University of Lübeck was founded in 1964 and is a public non-profit higher education institution located in a large town called Lubeck, a university officially recognized by the German Ministry of Social Affairs. History of the German Universität zu Lübeck

It was established in 1912 and became the City Hospital East Hospital since 1945. In November 1964, the Lubeck Medical Academy was established. And in May of 1973 became the Academy independent under the name of the Faculty of Medicine in Lubeck, and then in 1979 was the establishment of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and then became the Faculty of Medicine University on May 10, 1985.

The Computer Science Study Program was established in the 1993-1994 semester. In 2001, the Molecular Biotechnology Research Program, now called Molecular Life Sciences, was opened. On May 29, 2002, the University of Molecular Biology Germany’s Lubeck.
